I am sorry the information you provided is not enough for me to give you a suggestion. I am not a guru but have put together my own system.

I dont think these forums allow constant post topping.

Sorry.

edit : what kind of info do u need?

I'm having the same exact problem. Everything's connected, but no display. Pretty much the same setup too.
AMD 3200+ 939
DFI Ultra-D
1 GB Corsair XMS
x800xl
200gb SATA
Benq DVDRW
Rosewill 550W (yes, rosewill, lol)

List components, whats happening, what youve tried so far.

I want to know what youre seeing on monitor, no post? no beep . What isolation techniques have you tried? Using only onboard audio? No reports whatsoever from bios? Trying motherboards recommended slots for ram one stick at a time, power supply connections, what fan connection did you plug your cpu fan into etc... Details pls, I dont know enough to multiply three va

mobo lights light up all fans start spinning but on my display nothing comes up . i checked cables at least 4 times , everything looks fine , maybe im missing something . also i dont know if this would help or not but i have a pci-e card and the molex cable IS connected.

I have no display at all on my monitor; 1 short beep that repeats after every 5 secs; cpu fan and cpu were preinstalled from monarch

EDIT: Mobo is on standoffs; have checked wires repeatedly; I didn't do anything w/ the HD, but I connected it w/ the IDE cable. I also took out the northbridge fan just now b/c it kept hitting my gfx card and I wanted to better fit my gfx card in in case it's that...I'm bout to turn it on again.

If all else fails, rip it apart and test it outside of the case with the bare essentials. Just place the mobo on the mobo box and go from there. Use only the basics (cpu, 1 stick ram, vid card). Watch out for static of course though.

Is it ok that I took off that fan/heatsink combo on my northbridge? I have one of those huge side window fans that's gonna blow directly on it once it's in the case.

Here guys, list of things to check. Go item by item. http://www.omnicast.net/~tmcfadden/index.html, top link there. If it comes down to it, take the motherboard out of the case, lay it on cardboard, and do a benchtest with ONLY the absolute essential items for POST (no drives, no front-port wiring, no extra cards, etc).

What video card are you using that the Ultra-D's chipset HSF is hitting it? There's an XFX 6600GT in my fiancee's and while it does sit extremely close, it's not hitting it ... :camera:'s?
