I'm kinda torn on that one. I don't think moderators owe me an apology for missing a ban here and there(or in lots of places, depending on who you ask, apparently). I don't care that much. If they want this place to be some place that's buttoned up, that's fine, but it looks to me like a decision's been made to make this place a more relaxed environment, and that's fine, too. The problem isn't that mods don't ban/warn for every name calling. It's that people are calling each other names. You can't fix people. Not with warnings/bans on a free internet board.

BUT...

Rio Rebel pretty much cornered himself and loke with that first post. After that post was made, anyone would have guessed that LoKe wouldn't exactly back down saying sorry, and I haven't seen mods backing down to forum members around here either , so... The end result is as expected. The guy with the BAN button gets in the last word.
