So you're nowhere near inshape then yet.

Actually I'd never been ill in the gym before,I was just working intensely and with a measured BF of 17.46% I'd have to disagree with your comment, sorry.

Yes, nothing like the guy in spandex in front of me today that was bending over doing his stretches.

lol, what kills me is that I'll be looking in the mirror just to check form on certain exercises and some pasty faced runt always seems to just have to step in front of me in order to flex for himself.

I wasn't dehydrated or anything in fact I'd been sipping a gatorade drink,I was hitting my abs hard though.

I'd say the most likely culprit is still lack of proper hydration. The fact that you were sipping a Gatorade doesn't mean anything. How much water have you been drinking for the past few days? When you pee is it clear or yellow?

So nearly 20% of your body is fat? Better hit the gym harder.

The only time I ever puked was when we ran suicide quarters for over an hour in lacrosse and football. I was such a pussy. 😉

Never heard of this. The only bad feeling I ever got was after a particularly intense cardio workout, I got a little dizzy.

A twit named Sampson telling someone else to get a Haircut? If you ever are in the Boston area look me up and we can discuss it face to face😉

I've felt nauseated after a workout but a small carton of OJ usually does the trick.

You must have missed the "get a job" part. Seeing as how I typically work 6 days a week, I wouldn't have the time to come to boston and make an ass out of you. So, I'll just do it here! 😀 Oh wait, you do a good enough job at that yourself.

In the world of working out at the gym, is throwing up a good thing or a bad thing?

When is throwing up ever a good thing?

In those rare instances that it is a good thing, when was it caused by a bad thing?

I've been feeling kinda sick too for the past couple of days but I didn't end up throwing up. Turns out I was just hungry 🙂

That movie is considered old skool thinking today...

Most physicians and athletes agree that you should never work out this hard... "no pain, no gain" is out. Now its about sustained aerobic (instead of anaerobic) workouts that make you feel good at the end (endorphins).

Congratulations! I've never had the will to drive myself that hard. Believe me I've thought in the past that I'd vomit, but in your case you really took it to that level. I am not being sarcastic either 🙂 It's not particularly healthy, but even to say you've done it once.

Folks, nine times out of ten this is a case of hypoglycemia. Drink something sweet before and during your workout and you'll curb this most of the time.

"good" only in the sense that it might get a righteous "all right, dude"
from your workout partners.
