I saw this a few minutes ago on a piece by Peter Jennings. I found a link right here. Very, very interesing, IMO.

This explanation is so simple that I am amazed it wasn't figured out earlier.

Discuss the implications of this.

Well, to add fuel to the fire, couldn't a very strong "divine" light have caused it? Not sure how, but it could have :p

Image is not the only thing that makes the shroud remarkable...there are other physical details that quite amazing.

I'm not saying it is real...just amazing.
