terry wash cloth(s). one for the face another for the body.

a poem: learn this quick, learn this fast, always wash your booty last.

Bump after I had this same discussion with my GF. She uses hands + soap. It just blows my mind

Of course. I use a washcloth for my face, and a stiff bristled brush for everywhere else. Yes, everywhere.

Anybody who simply uses soap and their hands is not getting themselves fully clean.

When you're hand washing your car, do you use soap, water + your hand? Or do you use soap + water + rag/spongy thing?

Cars have bug splats from 80 mph impacts, dried dirt, and road salt. People's bodies do not.

No, worse.

They have a few hundred million dead skin cells plastered all over every square inch of their bodies.

Under sweat, which does just rinse off.. and dirt, which may or may not just rinse off.

It definately takes physical disturbance to exfoliate anything but the very topmost layer of dead skin, though.

Your body has dead skin flakes, dirt, dried sweat and other filfth accumulating on a daily basis. A smooth body w/soap + a smooth hand w/soap just isn't an efficient way of scrubbing away dead skin and grime.

It's like brushing your teeth with your finger tip. Sure it may work, but it does a pretty piss poor job.

I'm very flexible :D

I use a washcloth occasionally to get the nice scrubbed raw clean feeling, but day to day I just use soap and hands and it seems to work okay.
