I have to ask:

You have a desktop shortcut to Firefox. You have a QuickLaunch shortcut to Firefox. You have a Dock/Launcher shortcut to Firefox. You have a Start button, which, presumably, has a path leading to a shortcut to Firefox.

Isn't the point of installing launchers, docks, toolbars, etc to *reduce* the number of cluttering shortcuts on your desktop?

😉

Maybe he just really likes the firefox icon 😉
It's pretty spiffy if I say so myself, I have the same thing, a shortcut, dock, quicklaunch and start menu for firefox.

Or make sure you are always near clicking an icon you want.

I just reinstalled windows completely and the dock and all, have still to clean up all the Firefox icons, anyway they're gone now.

i really like the background on the new one

edit: lots of really cool desktops in here. It's been a few years since I was into customizing mine. Now it's just the plain old windows (even less than xp's default style!) and a mess of icons for me
