Setup at home

This is the setup that i had when i was in CT with the 'rents for a few months. My current setup at college is a little different, but no digi cam for me. :(

Old setup back in Philly
PC
Background in that second pic is from digitalblasphemy right?
ik3y's iirc. Great thread :D

Yes, it is. I use them an other sites to try and get backgrounds. (preferbly free). Althought i have been thinking about subscribing to some sites every now and then.

My current setup at college is a little like the setup i had back in philly, but instead of the smaller CRT, i have a LCD panel the same size , 17inches. I use a different desk(a little smaller), and i still only use 2 out of my 4 speakers of my Klipsch 4.1 pro media set.
I get a litte obsessive compulsive about my cable management for my pcs and purchases some split flex tubing to bundle and route the cable be hind my desk. Man, I wish i had a camera to show it off. :(

Curious question for you Gurck. How good is the rear sound imaging on your setup? I ask because I've been thinking of upgrading to a 5.1 system but I've limited myself to Creative speakers because my current Cambridge SoundWorks FPS-1800 speakers are on a Creative Sound Center. The sound center is basically a pair of swingarms that drop the rears right behind me. You can see it in my post of my desk setup. I've been thinking of getting some Logitech X-530s though but I'm not so sure how good the rear imaging would be. My desk is similar enough to yours that I might be able to pull off the same sound setup as long as the rear imaging is good.
