Should'nt lifer status be awarded based on length of time (instead of soley on post count)

I too have been coming to Anandtech for years and years, but never actually joined until 06 or so.
(my work usually kept me too busy and on the road enough that I didn't have time for forums and such.)
I'd visit, read up on whatever problem I had...then leave until the next time.

The post counts here are pretty f^&*ing hilarious, but there's some entertaining posters here - so who cares?

I remember one site I used to post at only one guy broke 10000 posts after several years, and that was right before the site went down. And it was a moderate traffic site.
