hmmm, North korea has no resources that interest the US, so they will starve and suffer...now if they had oil that would be a different story

On the other hand the last time we tried to help the Koreans, they started shooting as us, and then we tried to help the Vietnamese, they started shooting at us too, then what was it? oh yes several more countries we tried to help, they started shooting at us too, why do we keep trying to help other countries again?

good point..but when it came to a nation that actually had something worth while for the US(read Iraq) the US actually pulled it's finger out and removed the "offending" governement from power by actually declaring war, when it came to to Korea ,Vietnam and a few others it was just a half arsed police action. this is typical of the US, unless there is something in it for them, the jobs done half arsed.

only after Japan attacked the US did the US do anything, the US was prepared to send Australia and the pacific to hell, as I said when it is in the interests of the US, something is done.

They wouldn't eat our food even if we sent it to them. It would be used to feed the active military, not the general population. NK doesn't want to play nice with the rest of the world.
 
actually we were employing an oil embargo on the japanese that is pretty much why they attacked pearl harbour. knock out our fleet so they could take Indonesia and its oil ( was a dutch colony ). and force us to settle with them.
