On the other hand the last time we tried to help the Koreans, they started shooting as us, and then we tried to help the Vietnamese, they started shooting at us too, then what was it? oh yes several more countries we tried to help, they started shooting at us too, why do we keep trying to help other countries again?

good point..but when it came to a nation that actually had something worth while for the US(read Iraq) the US actually pulled it's finger out and removed the "offending" governement from power by actually declaring war, when it came to to Korea ,Vietnam and a few others it was just a half arsed police action. this is typical of the US, unless there is something in it for them, the jobs done half arsed.

Odd, we didn't hear any such whining when we stopped the Japanese from making your country part of their empire.

only after Japan attacked the US did the US do anything, the US was prepared to send Australia and the pacific to hell, as I said when it is in the interests of the US, something is done.

You do know why Japan attacked us in the first place right?

Without oil and steel Japan could not continue their quest for empire or maintain what they already had.

They attacked Pearl to get the US to negotiate, but it didn't work.
