First, Microsoft only tested this in Japan. In Japan they are already use to working their asses off on a hourly and daily basis. They already work 10-16 hour days, five days a week. So, saying they were 40% more productive per day when they are working 25% more per day isn't alluding to much. Secondly, employers like mine look to abuse their employees as much as they can. Its not the job that stresses them out, but their employers' bullshit. For instance, constantly being under the threat of losing your job because some dumb-ass bean-counter thinks the answer to everything is to fire your workforce, including those making the largest profit for them.
