Yes I think Elon musk should be held to much higher standards. Right now he has no human decency, so that's pretty bad.

What happened here isn’t that much different when sports teams win championships. Crowds can be stupid. Meanwhile comparing this to the power of a POTUS is laughable at best and smells like an agenda by the OP who doesn’t really care about this issue.

I thought the legal system already addressed this sort of thing? Maybe in the US the idea of "free speech" trumps everything else? But aren't there all sorts of laws about "incitement" or "conspiracy"? Seems like a genuine dilemma over where "free speech" begins and ends.
E.g. promoting COVID conspiracy theories. if the place is on fire are you allowed to tell everyone it's all fake and they should stay put? Can you shout "theatre" in a crowded fire?
