Interesting. How did you get to the forums if the main site was mostly meaningless to you? I only joined because I had read Anand's articles before and also because I was banished from Tech Report forums. They couldn't handle my outbursts and occasional crappy jokes

I don't remember how I came across the Hot Deals forum, but that's how I ended up here.

Nah, he put me on ignore years ago for continually pointing out that he's an idiot.

I know of no other place where mods are so into what's going on and reasonable. And they participate as equals as well.

Sanity is appreciated and insanity called out. Where else do you see that? Plus there's a lot of expertise on all kinds of things, areas.

I liked the main site! I'm missing it at the moment with the release of new CPUs by AMD and Intel. I'm not sure which other sites I trust, or at least I don't know them well enough to calibrate for their bias.

gamers nexus is pretty hardcore when it comes to reviews.
