At this point, isn't it safe to say the PS4 "won?" So then maybe it gets the better exclusives down the road due to higher market share?

Doubtful. I mean who is this company making exlcusives for Sony that isn't Sony owned. If Sony the parent company wasn't bleeding from every orifice I would say that there is an opportunity for Sony pay for exclusive development (like MS contracting Epic (Gears) and Crytek (Ryse)) but neither has to be winning or losing for that to happen. When you think about it that way the Xbox has a greater chance to have even more exclusives because MS will be driven to bring value to the Xbox and buying exclusivity is an easy way to do that. They can outbid Sony.
Also we shouldn't talk about winners till year 4-5. Heck almost none of the casual gamers. The ones that really push adoption rate has touched these consoles yet. Remember the PS3 was a year late and at one point nearly 20 million behind the X360 and made a pretty substantial comeback. If either consoles get their way this 2-3 million difference will be a drop in the bucket.
But the reality is Win or Lose both consoles are doing very well. The Xbone world wide isn't doing great, but it's still selling in the millions. If your a big Studio (Ubi, EA, A-B, Zenimax) you wouldn't turn away millions of potential customers. For the smaller indie studio's it will be such an insignificant process to port games from one to the other because of near matching hardware that again its a huge disservice to them and their product to limit availability.
OP As for playability the Xbox is within 90% of PQ of the PS4 on the mixed games and the Exclusive games run just as well if not better looking in ways then PS4 games. So it's about the exclusive games and controller. Get whichever has the best combo of that for you.
