Unless the problems that caused you to fight are gone, it's not going to be any different from before. I think your financial problems will be worse than before, because of the child. Oh, and OP... if you do ignore what everyone is saying and meet up with her this weekend:

1) Wear a condom.
2) Bring some tobasco, and pour it in the condom before you throw it out.

That shouldn't be an issue anyways because you should be sprinting away from this relationship. Don't call her. Don't answer the phone when she calls. Don't make plans with her. If you happen to see her, excuse yourself and GTFO.

Just fast forward 7 or 8 years from now. If you take her back, where will you be? My guess is living in some small apartment, working your a$$ off while she stays at home (or maybe she's picked up a part time job at the supermarket to appease you). You will have no say in raising this child. She won't have sex with you because she's "too tired" from dealing with the kid all day. To add insult to injury, you will get a nice helping of "your'e not even my real dad" every time you put your foot down.

Granted, that's a worst case scenario, but do you want your life to be like that?

Why not? The same reason that people with one leg don't walk tightropes: Because they're setting themselves up for a fall. Slowly, it'll go from you having the upper hand to you just wanting it to work because you think you love her.

it may have already been mentioned (no time to read all of the "RUN FOR IT" statements), but just think about how the kid will be dicked over when you guys split up again? if you aren't smart enough to stay away from her for yourself, at least stay away for the kid. plus, you could always become attached to the kid, and dispise her, and then what? you will just keep living with her in misery all for the kid?

It's not the kid, really. Even if she didn't have a kid, my advice would still be to stay away. Think about it...

They were already married, and it didn't work out. She went around sleeping with guys and screwing around... and now she wants to try again. He was miserable during their marriage, and the only reason he is considering it is because he is lonely/horny.

The only thing the kid does is amplify the situation.

As CPA said, there are plenty of men who go into relationships where the women have kids, and they end up just fine. This, however is not one of those situations.
