Hey. I like Shooters, racing, and sports games mostly, but anything that is good, I will play.

I also don't like Zelda games (the N64 or Gamecube one at least)

And stuff like rayman wacky wild adventure and Super Monkey ball are not stuff I would be interested in cause I am 20.

I would probably get Excite Truck and Red steel if I got the system, but what other games are coming out soon besides those 2? cause I looked at the release date list and it looked very scarce, but it might not be up to date. what new games are coming out in the next 6 months or so?

Edit- My little brother has Xbox 360. I live at college, but Im home a good amount so I can just play Xbox 360 there, so I am not gonna get that one and PS3 is too expensive for me

i think you would be better off with an xbox360 personally...since it has a ton of games for it.

shooters - halo, halo 2, gears of war, etc
racing - need for speed, forza, project gotham, burnout
sports - all the EA and 2k sports

the wii isnt bad either. it can play gamecube games too.

I am selling my Wii. Zelda was boring for me and I am a Pro in all the Wii sports, not just to 1000 but 2000+ at which point you cant go any higher.

There is nothing else I want to play on the system. I am going to sell and wait for a price drop and Super Smash and Mario.

sounds like you should just pass or wait for games.

or.. alternatively.. the wii has been a big hit with the womens.
buy one.
throw wii parties at college (use an old school CRT as not to have drunken wii remotes go flying through shiny new plasma/lcd).
Profit.

Uhh, No. Based on what you said here, you would not get the most enjoyment out of a Wii. 360 or PS3 for you.

You need a 360. Possibly a Wii60, but I'm still not sure if that'd be okay for you.

Yes ... I just about convinced my wife yesterday that she wants a Wii ... and she hardly ever games. I may have to get into the DDR stuff to appease her, but I'd love one. Going to bring up the conversation again tonight.

How do you know there's nothing else you want to play? All of the big release games aren't going to be until March.

I know there is nothing else I want to play right now because I can read. I have looked at what is supposed to be coming and dates have been moved. There is nothing concrete in the big release games. Some have been pushed back as far as Winter 07 from what I hear.

I am sick of it just sitting there. Its annoying. I didnt spend $300 for it to sit there. I use the 360 way more. There isn't even online play right now. Ooo Wii sports with my friends who never get better or with the computer who I stomp.

I like the Wii, don't get me wrong. But right now it is collecting dust. I would rather sell it to my Mom who is having a problem finding one than have it sit here.

When the price drops and I feel the games warrant it, I will buy another one.

Yeah, I'm dissapointed that they couldn't make harder computer opponents.

Considering you have access to a 360, the ps3 is too expensive, and you'll basically enjoy nothing on the wii, I think you should just save your money.

I think a PS3 would suit you well, and you may be able to find one on Ebay for less than $500. But even then, I still think you should just save your money.

im 23, i thoroughly enjoy those games. i dont have a lot of time to sit around and play, so i like dropping in with my friends and playing a couple nights a week. my wife plays most of the campaigns, and i get to play all the minigames.

while my house has always been the hangout, the wii has increased the awesomeness by a factor of 4. girls, guys, animals, we all enjoy it.

back on topic, save your money. or buy a wiener dog.

yeah, I don't get the age reference... I can understand you not liking the games just because you're not a minigame person though.

I loved rayman. I guess because it was basically a mission for myself and a friend. that and she bought it so it was free entertainment :) we beat it yesterday. probably a total of 7-8hrs over two wii days.. heh.
