This doesn't fix themselves, you will still need to get a seeder that has 1.0 and then you will be able to get the whole file. In this case try to find torrent files that has ratio of at least 2.0 and nearly for sure you'll be getting the whole package without having to wait for somebody to seed it.

I use Azureus and it downloads everything fine.

How many files have you actually had hang at 99.9? Try downloading some other stuff just to check it.

peer guardian is your friend. did you download a fake? or are you getting spammed with bad packets. safepeer for azureus also helps

and yes if swarm doesn't have a full copy in total or seeds you are screwed until the seed comes back if ever.

Azureus uses Sun Java, so check that you're using the latest version:
"Java Runtime Environment 5.0 update 5".
Varying the "max upload rate" can affect the download rate.
For example: leave the upload rate at "unlimited" for about 10 minutes, then lower the setting to 7k /second.
"BitLord 1.1" works best for me, although occasionally Azureus gives better transfer results.

I have the same problems sometimes.

If it's a .avi file then usually at 99.9% it's ok. But if it's a bunch of .RAR files...then no, it will not work at 99.9% for me. I'm using BitTornado.

The reason sometimes you see 99.9% is b/c people purposely alter a file to not be 100% so that you end up uploading more. Just a gimmick to get ppl to upload more.

I had that problem with Azureus a few times. I use BitSpirit now. Haven't had that problem at all anymore.

I never got Azureus to work satisfactorily. I am leery clients that don't adhere to the BT protocol, such as BitComet. Many torrent sites are private, and keep track of their user's U/D ratio, banning those who don't seed. Clients that don't follow the BT protocols usually fail to report their U/D properly, resulting in improper U/D ratios. 🙁 Azureus does follow the BT protocol, but, like I said, I never had it working to my satisfaction.

I used to use BitSpirit, but it also strays slightly from the BT protocol, almost getting me banned from one of my favorite torrent sites. 🙁

At the moment, I'm using BitLord.

azureus works fine on the 3 trackers that keeps stats and ban leechers that i use

It's the RIAA trying to discourage you from downloading. Seriously.

I had problems with Azureus after upgrading to the newest version. Went back to an older version and it worked fine again. Running 2.2.0.2

So that is the reason i use Azureus even if uses up alot memory but i have a fast computer so it doesn't matter.
