I personally am too lazy to bother with selling a game code, even though I probably wouldn't play/enjoy Wind Waker that much. I wanted the Wii U (which is staying at my sister's) as a local multiplayer machine, so getting a single-player game makes no sense to me. It kinda sucks that the game selection is so poor for that offer, really.

What are the details of the Toys R Us sale? Can it be done in store? Is it preorder, or can I walk into a toys r us on release day (or the day after) and get this deal?

It says, "40% off select PS3, PS4, Xbox One or 360 video game of equal or lesser value when you buy Watch Dogs."

For the exclusions, it says, "Excludes clearance. Online orders exclude pre-sell items. Must buy Watch Dogs AND add to cart an eligible game of equal or lesser value for offer to apply."

So it basically seems like you can get any non-clearance game your store has on the PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PS4. I wonder if you could get a second copy of Watch Dogs 40% off, it doesn't say. I'm almost tempted to wait until Friday to try to get the deal, and see if I can play JUUUUST dumb enough to get them to give me Mario Kart 8 40% off, haha. The only thing is that I don't think they'll let you combine it with a price match, because I was going to price match Forza 5 to Amazon for $43.45, then mark it down and get it for $26.07.

If you want to save even more money, you can buy a Toys R Us gift card on eBay for 20% off: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/121310/ebay---50-toys-r-us-gift-card Just keep in mind that they are shipping those cards from Denver. If you want to see if it will arrive on time, you can just go to USPS's shipping calculator and enter a Denver zip code (80012) and your zip code with a standard letter selected. For me, I found that as long as they ship it by tomorrow, I will get it on Saturday.

As for the deal, it was listed in their flyer, so it should last through Saturday. I would suspect that you should still be able to price match even if you use the deal. In that case, I might see if they'll price match Sonic Lost World (49.99 -> ~39.99) or Wind Waker HD ($49.99 -> ~$42.00).

I went ahead and grabbed the Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked sub today, $60 for 2 years. 20% off all new games for the 2 years, 10% off used games, and 10% extra trade-in. It's twice what you'd spend on the PowerUp Rewards at GameStop, but you get the 20% off new games, so I think it's worth it.

So, I think I'm passing on the Toys R Us offer. I can get 40% off the $50 Donkey Kong title, or I can get 20% off Mario Kart 8 and 20% off Donkey Kong, which would be $22 in savings at BB vs. $20 in savings at TRU, plus the option to get Rewards points at Best Buy.

The only thing is that I don't think you can price match with Gamers Club Unlocked, which sucks. For example, I don't think I could price match NBA 2K14 to Amazon for $40, then get 20% off and only pay $32. I'll have to check out the nuances.

I got a Wii U from my wife back in April as a birthday gift. Best birthday gift ever. Four player Super Mario U and 3D Worlds is so damn fun. I get to play Wii Sports Club with my old friends in Orlando. My wife also Loves Pikman 3 and even played through the single player Injustice with me. I would trade all the consoles I have ever owned just for the time I have spent with my wife gaming. The Wii U is leaps and bounds our most used system now and I would purchase it again no question. It is a much better system than many claim.

So I take it your wife is pretty mellow about gaming? My sister is verbally abusive towards her husband when we're playing Super Mario Bros. U, haha.
