Should I buy more $200 jeans?

Nothing wrong with premium designer jeans. You are just asking in the wrong forum. Ask in a fashion/fitness forum and most would probably praise you for giving them a heads up on the sale.

Yup. Now ask this forum if you should get four 5870s and quad crossfire them and they would be like "HELL YEA MAKE SURE YOU GET 6 MONITORS FOR EYEFINITY TOOOOOO".

And for OP, go for it. Ive been looking for a good deal on 7s too but I havent found any that I particularly like that much yet.

He needs to ask it like "Should I spend thousands of $$$ on these 5870's and 6 monitors?" though...it's all about the benjamins, not the product.

I can understand that some brands are of higher quality, fit better, etc. and that's going to cost more.

But if it's uncool to wear them after a while because the brand is "so last year", then what's the point?

Most people here would rightly say that spending more than $250 or so on graphics cards is a waste of money.

There's no reason to get quad crossfire 5870s, just like there's no reason to get multiple pairs of $200 jeans.

Buy many more so long as they are tight enough to cut off ciruclation to your nuts. That way you will never procreate and that is probably a godo thing for the world.

PS: Anyone spending morethan $50 on pants of any sort is a moron.

So this your house?

Everything just for utility because you're so awesome and good looking. right....

I don't care if you're Brad Pitt dude, the way you present yourself speaks about your personality and your self esteem.

Sucks to be you.
LOL

I think you have this backward. People who spend boat loads of money in a desperate attempt to be accepted by their peers are the ones who have self esteem issues.

if your going for the emasculated gay look then yes. BUY BUY BUY

And I'm not hating, I've yet to see a man(boy) wear skinny jeans without coming off as gay. There is nothing wrong with being gay. I guess unless you are one of those deviant gays that spends their nights having anonymous sex with multiple partners in the back of an adult book store or at a truck stop. Then thats just creepy.

To be fair, they're not all skinny cuts.

I love these threads. Successful trolling is an art. I tip my hat to you, JM. You are a professional.

He really is a big spender though. In his lunar eclipse thread he showed off his telescope, a 3" refractor that costs $1700 (and that's for just the optical tube). Mind you, the TV-76 is an amazing piece of optical engineering, but it's still extremely expensive. I know I'd never own one, just as I wouldn't ever own a pair of $200 jeans.

Jeans are a lot more subjective than telescopes or computer parts, though. At least, they seem that way to me. At least a $1,700 telescope produces measurably better images than a cheap one. Expensive clothing is all about fashion, which is completely frivolous and arbitrary. Perhaps expensive jeans are made better than cheap ones, but that's not to say you can't get well-made jeans for cheaper than that.

P.S. regardless of what I think of your jeans, you still posted some nice pics that night, JM.

I hope you know that 7's denim isn't made in the usa? They may be assembled here but the materials are foreign.

I hope you know that most of their denim is either Japanese or Italian. So I don't mind supporting other democratic, non hostile nations.

Thank you for disagreeing with me in a respectful tone. That's not found on ATOT very often.

I bought the telescope because it will last for decades and holds it value, so yeah it's a lot different than my jeans, which 5 years from now I will not be wearing and I will have most likely thrown out or donated to a thrift shop (assuming they're not beaten to shreds).

But I can honestly say I buy the jeans because I like them not because of the attention I get.

And I'll post pics of my TV-102iis when I get it next month too. 😉

Skinny jeans on men scream "Hey gays I love dick in my ass."

Having said that if I ever wear jeans the jeans I have are 7's. I only have four or so pairs though, I am just not much of a jeans guy. Wearing a suit daily it is hard to put on a pair of shitty jeans.

Let me guess, you wear the relaxed fit like every bro dude on MTV's Real World wears.

Do you have a barbed wire tattoo as well?

So now you're angry about normal men wearing normal jeans?

Grandpa jeans.

Hmm let's compare.

Here's a "grandpa" wearing the regular "boot cut" or "relaxed fit" jeans that most men wear.

Here is a homosexual man (not that there's anything wrong with that) wearing homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that) jeans
