I would set limitations of them being at least a diamond member or pay for a subscription.

Stuck behind an aol proxy at home so can only post at work

If I was a mod (and I'm not), and knowing that I would be an unpaid volunteer, I would want to keep the ban on AOL on place.

You guys don't get it. It's not AOL's users that are the problem here, it's AOL's ISP Staff that refuses to co-operate in stopping abuse on their system!

for a company that has as many users call, why would AOL care about this?

same as dell, Dell's CS sucks for personal use, but whenever I call for my dept at school, we get a replacement harddrive the same day!

Why the hell would you have friends that use AOL as their dialup? I can see having an email there since so many people think that's more credible "what's your real email, the aol one?"

Zuni. Rob
What does he say to it?

"Wah we don't mod FuseTalk for this site." Something like that, implementing IP block banning wouldn't be that hard since IP bans are already in place.

1. Person on AOL goes to library to register on AT.
2. Goes home to AOL and wrecks havoc on the forums.
3. Mod bans person.
4. Repeat 1-3

Am I missing something?

BTW, can't you just use an anonymizer? My HS network banned the forums after a friend and I were on it excessively, and just used that to continue to post. Until they realizes we were on anonymizer...
