I don't want them gone. I want them educated. If you could see me, you'd see me being super proud of my head nodding skills.

Well, indoctrinated, I get it. Compliance and assimilation. I don't need to see you to believe, my Facebook Wall is enough to see the head nodding skills of Lefties. They truly have a mental disorder(s)...

But you're the epitome of sanity? Prove it. <--- nod to a cockroach commercial where the cockroach tells the home owner to prove how disgusted she is with him. Except in this instance I suspect your proof of sanity will disgust me. Oh and look at that, I just can't seem to stop nodding. Mmmhmm, nodding my head that your thinkin' is stinkin'. You betcha.

Laughing at all the people that think this is not just political issue and not a mental health issue.

FTFY

It goes without saying that some on the left have been mentally compromised by recent historical events. So you're right it's also a mental issue.

Of course I am, what, you mistake me for someone with TDS?

Allllrighty then! 😀

Well, I think it's both and more. Or at minimum a mental health issue precipitated by political climate.

But then, if I could I'd take everyone's guns away. Get your shootin' on at a gun range.

*Edit: That's not exactly how I meant it. The mental health issue was clearly already present. Political climate (as it stands... messed up and scary) likely exacerbated the situation for him.

I agree. Working around the medical field I am aware that a large part of the population has untreated mental issues. Many of those people have guns. We are not prepared for what's coming.

Alex jones should know. He caused some mentally unstable guy to shoot up a pizza restaurant. This is what he was saying by media inspired. The perp apparently was a big fan of rachel madcow. Mentally unstable guy gets inundated with messages of hate and vitriol and decides to head out with a rifle.

Rachel Maddow hate and vitriol? You cast wide partisan net but catch nothing.

So, no one would be remiss to be wary of any of the millions of attendees at any previous Trump rally? I mean, just saying. When the country goes through 2 entire years of the complete adoption of hate and violence from the thunderturd that is now POTUS, none of this should be shocking. Are you actually equating the investigations into white supremacy and the violent right that Maddow has become known for, with the actual hate and violence of those very people? That is interesting.

don't get me wrong--I'm not dismissing the fact that this violent lunatic in question almost certainly became unhinged because of messaging from a different camp. But you will forever find me calling out those that look at a scale, and try to claim that the 1kg mass on one side balances equally with the 1g mass on the opposing side. It simply isn't true. You're going to have to show me a Bernie Rally where Bernie was encouraging his fans to run out and beat up dissenters, leave them stranded in the cold, and get their "2nd amendment people to do what they know to do."

He is blaming Rachel Maddow

"Never let a good crisis go to waste" - Churchill.

Any thing that can be used to score political points can and will be used. That has been around since politics has been around. Which is basically since 2 humans ever came into contact with each other.
I think that might be one of countless quotes that are incorrectly attributed to Churchill.

We do know that Rahm Emanuel said: “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.

I think that most of us agree on far more than we disagree on. We might do well to keep that in mind in light of the days events.

Keep in mind the people you agree with the most:

I wouldn't laugh too much, this is really what the die hard Left wants (removing of Righties), the ordinary individual just doesn't have the mental stomach for killing/can't afford the consequences. They just couch their rage in fake moral superiority...it's transparent, but head nodders don't care how fake they are, only that they can head nod...

Sad and disturbing. Not what this country needs. Thankfully the only fatality was the shooter himself.

Would be nice to keep partisan crap out of this thread...
So far with mod help it's been relatively mild.
Yep. A certain member was being rather... uncivil to say the least.
Are you calling out members?
FIVR was a monumental ass in this thread, and he knows it. Admins took care of it.

FIVR. Ass. Dick.

Uhh, the fact the quote was claimed to by stated by Churchill in a non-recorded manners to someone else doesn't mean he didn't say it. Rahm did say that as well.

The claim that it was stated by Churchill has been made since the 40's.. a few decades before Rahm even made a similar statement on TV.

For reference. This is the official list of Churchill misquotes.

The crisis one isn't listed there 🙂

I admitted my failing later... does that count for anything?

I've shamed myself forever.

I actually searched and found a researcher saying that they couldn’t find anything attributing it to Churchill before 1975, and that was worded very differently.

For those laughing in this thread, you are sick. Get some help with your mental illness. Nothing, nothing concerning this awful situation is funny.

My prayers for all of those folks injured and their families.

No surprise. Most likely the violence directed at Republicans and conservatives will get worse before it gets better.
The only politician that i've seen trying to gain points on the tragedy is Virginia Gov. McAuliffe and his "too many guns on the street and we lose 93 million Americans a day to gun violence".

Hey stupid, guess which political party leader actually called for violence?

Well it didn't take long. The era of comity failed to last 1 day. Guess which political party gave a troll interview blaming one side for the shooting?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/14/politics/newt-gingrich-baseball-shooting/index.html
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on Wednesday blamed the shooting at the Republican baseball practice on Democrats who spout “vulgarities,” among other things.

I guess Newt has never met the POTUS??

Even a Fox News host called him on his trolling

Well that didn't take long.

While he's at it maybe he'll call for stricter controls on people that suffer from mental illness, the real cause of this tragedy. /s

Dude could have at least waited a freaking day.
