I used to worry a lot about my height. Once you get over the fact that it's not something you can change, you tend realize it's a really stupid thing to worry about in the first place.

You can change height. Limb lengthening surgery can add several inches though its expensive.

5'6

EDIT: how the hell are you supposed to prove someone discriminated based on height?

also from here

The cost is about $85,000 for 5cm of lengthening and can go as high as $140,000 if there are complications.

Maybe this should go in Hot Deals.

Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
Short People got no reason
To live

They got little hands
And little eyes
And they walk around
Tellin' great big lies
They got little noses
And tiny little teeth
They wear platform shoes
On their nasty little fett

Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Round here

Short People are just the same
As you and I
(A Fool Such As I)
All men are brothers
Until the day they die
(It's A Wonderful World)

Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
Short People got nobody
To love

They got little baby legs
And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That got beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time
Well, I don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
Don't want no Short People
'Round here

(thanks Randy Newmann)

/me is 6'1", and am considered to be about average height...(although statistically, 5'9" is considered "average"...)

Go to international countries for much hotter deals!!! Russia, Thailand, Germany, and China do countless operations so their experience with cosmetic surgery is most likely higher than doctors in the US who mainly do surgeries to correct dysfunction and not for cosmetic reasons.

lol this is much funnier since WMP for some reason is playing the video fast making everyone sound like chipmunks.

I think the way the filmed the 5'5 guy made him look a lot smaller.

Yeah, that whole segment looked to be a very very fluffed and ****** story altogether. Guess you gotta come up with random ****** stories to keep a job even in the news business.

I don't know what it's like to be short (I am 6'2"). But these tards make it sound like it's as bad racism and that they need protection for being on the "short end" of the gene pool.

I'm around 5' 5", maybe even 6", but I don't feel unconfident. I don't care that people put me down for my height, I just usually brush it over. I mean, come on, what does it have to do with anything? I can probably do almost anything that anyone can do, just as well, and if I need some help, I wouldn't be afraid to ask for it. But then again, I'm probably this short because I'm Indian, so I don't mind it, because once I go back to India, I don't feel that short.

I'm 6'6. I just came in here to see if any of you needed anything off the top shelf. No? Ok. You let me know though...

Probably doesn't help that the aspect ratio of the video is wrong, at least on my setup. That plus a tall cameraman makes the guy look much shorter than he is.

I'm female and about 5'8", I don't encounter very many women who are taller than I am without the assistance of big shoes. I do see a good amount of men my around my height or shorter. I feel like Andre the Giant whenever I walk into the women's section of a clothing store. Most 'regular' clothes aren't available in my size and 'plus-size' stuff is usually fugly as hell, cut for someone much shorter and rounder than I, or both. Men's clothing FTW- the only time something isn't available in my size is when the store is out of it and hasn't restocked yet. 😛

My SO is about 5'5". Only his mother finds his height distressing or seems to care about how tall he is. His only annoyance I know of is finding clothes as well.

You can get about 3 inches(8cm) for $25,000.
Institutes in China have a great reputation for limb leghtening surgeries.
