Shopping in Buffalo

Well, over here on the left coast, we have shit for bread...it's all sourdough and it tastes like ass and has the consistency of vaginal pubic hair.

So every time I'm out in that direction, I stock up because it's fantastic.

And I can't bake bread for shit. I've tried. I get more flour on myself than in the bread itself. However, their biscotti is quite good, too.

There was some hole-in-the-wall grocery store in Niagara Falls, too, that had some really good provolone cheese, but I don't remember what it's called or where it is.

In buffalo? Nothing is amazing. Other than that, head over to Broadway Market (if they're still there) and get you some kielbasa.

I've been to those outlets; no different than any other "outlet" stores. Broadway market is good. If you want outlets, just go to Prime Outlets in Grand Island. Galleria Mall is mostly overpriced.

I'm not sure if the Broadway markets are open year round - never been there in the winter. Oddly, I'm from the Buffalo "area" and just headed 6 hours east to visit our son and do some shopping in the NYC area today.

Could be, it's the only outlet center near me. It does always have hundreds of Canadian vehicles at it that have come from two hours in each direction, and busses of asains from NYC.

Maybe it's that Canadians don't realize that most of the stuff at these outlets are specifically produced for the outlets, rather than the perception that the outlets are made to get rid of excess inventory at low prices.

Crossing the border at Niagara Falls and driving south on the US side. Best places for shopping?

Probably too late, but I'd go on past Buffalo to Millcreek Mall outside Erie, PA for tax free shopping. And if unable to go that far, Galleria Mall for best selection.
