I read all of your replies.. you started this whole thing going all over the place with. 80 years ago.. laws.. prohibition.. you are all over the fucking place. All because I said "The smell, that's the only difference" in response to "What’s the difference between being “stoned silly” and being “drunk as Cooter Brown?” ...

*shrug* it's not the only difference. Add the /s tag. This is the internet bro, we don't have tone of voice, body language, facial expressions, etc....so yea...the /s tag matters, it's a thing for a reason.

My point with your webmd "supporting" article, as I said, is that real research into MJ has been stunted. So yea, 43 people is hardly a measure of what is what, when millions use it. You should probably read that article again. Obviously, we've been able to study Ethanol with more vigor and less stigma.

If you weren't so emotional about it, maybe you would've read what I wrote and thought about why it makes a difference.

But hey, it's more important to attack the vicious troll known as ch33z.

FUCK YOU AND YOUR /S TAG.. If you didn't get the humor, that is on you, not because it was missing the /s tag. go fucking read what I said.. there is no fucking difference at the level in which it was meant.. I have explained that multiple times.. yet you say I am not reading what you are saying.. From an addict perspective, a rehabilitation perspective, it is NOT different. it is only different from a deep technical scientific level which I have said over and over.. so again.. fuck off! Yep, that's emotion.

The affects on the mind and body are different. If you want to discuss addiction, then anything can be the same as those. But that's not what your "joke" was. Your hilarious punchline was saying that stoned silly and being drunk as cooter brown (which btw, I had to google that cuz I never heard it) was no different. That's comically false. Your defense of this is to post a webmd link that says what you want it to say in the headline, yet reading the article doesn't reflect what you offer it does.

Here you go, taking shit out of context... Cooter brown was a heavy drinker, drinking all the time, and drank to stay drunk. Being stoned silly and being drunk stupid is no difference in the context of what it was meant by that poster. The very fact that you had to go look it up, demonstrates that you are trying to make it into a technical argument, which I have already stated you are, down to the scientific level.. completely taking it out of context because YOU missed the humor. The webmd doesn't talk about people getting angry and such from MJ? It doesn't matter how, or why that is so, the fact is they do. now I'm done with this.

You are right, I am fucking emotional.. I just lost my brother to covid 6 days ago, and you baited me into an argument over something that was pure humor and taking it out of context... so you are fucking right I'm emotional. But at least with all that, I still had the sense to give you some information that supported my position about anger and MJ.. which was just one area of your all over the place arguments, and the one thing I never did, discount your experience, I have acknowledge it! So fuck off!

Sorry to hear about your brother. RIP.

Just use the /s tag bruh, it's proper internetiquette. Don't get all emotional about it when others challenge your crappy "joke".

I looked it up because I'm a curious sort with a magic information device in my hands. You mad about that too?

The WebMD article is lacking sufficient evidence, but hey....it made your defense of the "joke" that much better, lol. At this point, I don't think your statement was intended as a joke, I think you think MJ and ethanol are basically the same thing. And you said it your self earlier, the article doesn't have anything MJ specific, it can all carry over to alcohol. I guess if you wanna "twist" it to fit your narrative, go for it.

Damn dude, you certainly got triggered by this. That's a you problem though.

The good news in a this is that our society has changed enough to allow for real MJ research. So if it turns out that THC or another cannabinoid can cause anger...maybe we will know now. My personal experience doesn't support that. I spent good deal of my younger life working and partying (for better or wosre) and never saw these angry stoners at all lol.

Hold on guys, before we fight, I'm get on this joint quick 🤣

I've got no skin in this game either way, just a freedom loving American.

Never claimed to be. But I'm still smart enough to use the /s tag online.

Dumb enough to be your emotional punching bag this week.

But, smart enough to know correlation doesn't equal causation.

Thanks for another personal attack 😉

Seriously dude, not much more we can say. Sorry about your bro, any consolation I bet you and I see eye to eye on covid prevention safety measures 🤔

It's not an attack buddy, It's a fact since I've explained myself multiple times, yet you keep trying to take it to a techniqually scientific argument because you don't get it. So either you are not to bright, or you are trolling.. take your pick.

We might as well be arguing the differences in cuts of beef and how they are different based on the technical scientific differences they have on the body, even thought they are all steaks or ground hamburger. What you are trying to argue, the deep scientific differences is a non argument because it's already a known given, making it a non argument, and never a consideration by me. Every thing we put in our bodies effects us differently, from the food we eat, to the air we breath. Throw in the factor of how everything effects use individually, and it's a never ending cycle. Yet you want to argue at that level, even though I told you multiple times my response was never at a deep technical scientific level, yet you continue, and wonder why I am emotional. It's a pointless meaningless argument.. all because you missed the humor, and require an /s tag, to the point you had to go google the person I was responding to so you can continue arguing something you completely didn't understand. And you even took that down the wrong rabbit hole, and here you are, continuing your crap even after I explained that blunder to you. How do you have any conversation with anyone on the internet if you need an /s tag to understand something? Anyhow, I'm done taking part in your trolling, because that is what this is.

Well, as little as I care about this oddly-bad-tempered argument either way, I learned something new there at least.

Makes more sense than "drunk as a skunk", which as far as I can tell, exists as an expression for no better reason than "it rhymes".

Now wondering why it's "drunk as a Lord" but "sober as a judge", and where does that leave the Law Lords, who are both?

I started with "drunk as a lord" and nothing is quite as in depth as cooter brown.

sober as a judge was along the same lines. Here's one link that looks like someone went a little more into it:

I dunno, the cooter brown thing I found interesting and it was new to me (so i googled it with my magic information portal), wasn't trying to make a problem with it. I've always found language usage intriguing.

edit: still digging thru some links and made it to this one, thought it was a good one :)

Dr. Anthony Addington (father of PM Henry Addington) prescribed a bottle of port a day to cure an inflammatory disease that was actually exacerbated by port.

Lol.

Doctors have been pretty crap for most of history, I think. It's only very recently they started even attempting to be scientific or even rational.
