hmmm what seasoning did you use? bbq?

Salt and pepper, then under the broiler.

Making a couple sammiches. I bought some real bagels from a bakery, toasted them and have some top quality Vermont cheddar. Add some red onion slices.

With the Sam Adams Summer Ale, I'm good to go.

I did, but I have a kickass superbroiler and didn't want to have to clean the stove top.

What I did was preheat the skillet and get it hot on the burner. The hot pan then seared the steak like a branding iron. and then flipped it over. Once one side was done, I flipped it over to a different spot in the pan which was literally searing hot.

Worked well enough, but for a thick piece of meat I would do it the traditional way.
