Was it ever gone?Face it fellas. Power is back and the days of econo FWD cars is over. At least in the "sports sedan" category that I honestly believe the Maxima started back in the late 80s.

It sure was. Between the early 90s till now, cars were mundane. You had a few show stoppers such as the SHO and Countour SVT and Impala SS, but they got killed off.
Regarding the Maxima starting it...its sad to see that the nameplate lost its way in 2004. The G35 is the "Maxima" now.

They were there, you just weren't paying attention mabey?
tsk tsk... looks like someone isn't following the manufacturer's recommended break-in procedureOriginally posted by: spidey07
holy crap is this thing fast. Was on the interstate and just decided to actually see what full throttle can do. Even at 80-100 it buries you.
It's WAY too easy to go fast in this thing.

yeah.. too bad she doesn't get on all fours...
edit: Even then, it prolly won't be a 'true' AWD; I bet 80% of the torque is going to the front wheels most of the time.

I'd have a problem if it did have a spoiler. Spoiler = teh kids.
Hmm... interesting. I'm 26 and never thought having a spoiler correlated with age. I see a nice G35c out there with a spoiler and it's 5x better looking than a G35c without a spoiler. I don't care how much more I'd have to pay. The whole thing looks hot. Just about the last thing I think to care about when I see something like that is who's driving it and how old they are. And I've seen mid-30s women drive G35c's with spoilers...Originally posted by: spidey07

Exactly! I'm 32. No spoiler....m'kay. Thanks. I have an image to uphold.
And I'm seriously considering throwing some classy 18s on there though.
Yes, the TL has dual exhaust and side turn lights. They aren't very noticible and blend into the line down each side.
