Do you know who the only other 2 senators that have used blanket holds of nominees are?

I know Obamao Himself used blanket holds on a couple of departments, although I don't think The Messiah ever used an across-the-board hold on all nominees. One of those holds was over the Democrat's Holy Grail, voting without ID. For the other, I would suspect Byrd, Kennedy, or maybe Boxer or Leahy, but I honestly don't remember it happening. But even though there is an amusing sense of justice to see it played back on Obama, I still can't support it.

"Reid confirmed Monday that he will put a blanket hold on all of President Bush's nominees for executive branch positions except for judges and defense appointees. He said he will hold up nominees and selected bills until his nuclear waste adviser, Gregory Jaczko, can be confirmed to join the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

'He'll get that job,' Reid said. 'It's just a question of when, now or six months from now. Maybe it will be after Bush is defeated. Whether Bush is re-elected or not, Jaczko will get that job.'"

I am quite certain that there were enough key words there for you to find them.

Me? It's not my assertion, merely my prerogative and right to ask that it be substantiated, rather than to accept innuendo as something meaningful...

So, uhh, have at it. Nice quote, btw, but there's no source for it...
