So, you want 100 US Senators who all sound the same and don't take "risky" positions?
That's stupid
Well, I have no problem with "risky" positions, but they should at least be based on the US Constitution. Not the Angle Constitution.

Where in the constitution does it mention seperation of church and state?
Obama believes the Constitution provides negative rights
Obama believes white man invented aids
Obama believes you've made enough money, need to spread it around
Obama believes in marxism
Obama follows an anti-colonialist mentality
Obama doesn't believe in free enterprise or free market
Obama doesn't believe in capitalism and downright thinks it's evil
That should scare the crap out of this country way more than the next senator from Nevada.
No it hasn't. It's been more since JFK.
Let's see, 3 examples off the top of my head:
- Philippines early 20th century
- Cuba 1900-1959
- Supporting the French re-colonization of Vietnam 1950's, including paying up to 90% of their war costs Many, many more though.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
Congress cannot establish a national religion, congress cannot prevent people from practicing their own religion. Since Congress cannot get involved with religion eitherway a barrier is established between church and state.
BTW - Thomas Jefferson said of this clause is in effect puts a "wall" between church and state.

Dude - don't be a caricature. The next time any of you Angle supporters get a chance, look deeply into her eyes and report back on how you were affected by it....if you still could. *shivers with disgust*
In other words, Spidey wants to go back to the time when white folks..... "WE The People" owned the black folk.Obama believes the Constitution provides negative rights

Guess I should mention 95% of the claims about liberals' positions I see here are wrong or lies, the other 5% I can't remember.

Except since progressives discovered that freedom OF religion is actually freedom FROM religion, government can and does prevent people from freely practicing their own religion. And the progressives are constantly seeking to restrict religion even more, from banning creches on public property to trying to ban creches in sight of public property, from banning official prayers to preventing graduating valedictorians from mentioning G-d in any way. It's practically the ACLU's entire reason for existence. (Of course, this only applies to Christianity.)

Out comes the liberal deck, fifty-one race cards and a joker (you know, in case you need to play the race card.)
Don't like Marxism? You're a racist!
Don't like high taxes? You're a racist!
Don't like people breaking immigration laws? You're a racist!
Don't like murderers serving life without parole getting weekend passes? You're a racist!
Don't like the threat of being jailed for spending your own money on your own health care? You're a racist!
Don't like having your hard-earned money taken and given to others? You're a racist!
Don't like non-citizens voting? You're a racist!
Frankly, after the first few million times the accusation loses a lot of its sting.
You are exactly right that we are free from the government pushing religion(s) on us. I suspect you don't want the gov. to replace the Christian national holidays with pagan ones, or asking you to swear on a copy of Dianetics in court, or replace the Indiana public school bible classes with Quran classes, or replace the Decalogue with Wiccan spells in government buildings. Even religious nutters don't want their state imposing somebody else's favorite brand of supersition on them.
Also, thwarting religion isn't the ACLU's primary goal. Google is your friend. Here are a few dozen examples: http://www.aclufightsforchristians.com/
well enjoy it...because now there's a few million and ONE more!!
/banjo!
it's been in fits and starts but it's been around in the US since the monroe doctrine. heck, the revolution itself was de-colonization.

Wrong again. Nobody in government is restricting any religion or the practicing thereof on private property.
BTW - If you are against government restricting religion why do your folks want the President to say building a mosque 2 blocks from ground zero is wrong?
"My" folks didn't take that position.
