Shappire x800GTO2 AGP

YMMV, but IMHO Page Computers scares me a little bit. I was pretty optimistic that they would get their stuff together and everything, so I ordered the PCIe version from them last saturday (10/1) when the PCIe deal was so hot. Card is finally on it's way, but it took online chatting, emails, and 2 calls to customer service to find out if it was indeed going to ship and what the tracking # was. Not supposed to arrive until 10/12, 11 days after I ordered. I just hope it's the right card and works and my credit card doesn't get overcharged.

I'm sure these guys have all the best intentions and aren't deliberately trying to take our $$, but they have a way to go to keep up with someone like Newegg when it comes to putting the buyer at ease.

QFT. This is why we don't list page in our RTPE. Page will take your order if they don't have stock and ship it if/when they do. They also have a nasty habbit of canceling orders days after.

PS To be fair, I think nVidia's waranty is one year but is extended to two years with registeration.

Well its offical, the GTO2 in AGP does not exsist. Excaliberpc.com called me today and said the mistake was on sapphire's end and to refuse the package when it came in for a full refund.

Dear Matt,

We just got the news from Sapphire that the AGP GTO2 is actually only the GTO. They are expected to release the GTO2 only in PCI-Express. We are very sorry for the wrong information. Please refuse the package if you can. If UPS delivers it by mistake then we will send you a label to send it back at our expense. A full refund of $220.24 will be issued once you refuse or send back the package.

good thing i didn't experience any problems with them...only problem i had was that they took forever to send me my package
