It is POD with little overhead. We've been battling with Amazon to have their shipping status properly reflect that.
The publisher is targeting books of similar genres -- mysteries and thrillers. We will be publishing additional authors. Are you looking for a publisher?
Yes; but I write philosophically oriented creative non-fiction... Right now it's all journal articles, but I'd like to do a "Child Called 'It'" sort of thing with my dissertation.
Well, the Kindle edition is coming down from the max MSRP. I'm hoping the print edition will, too, in the near future. Unfortunately, Amazon has to make its cut.
When first launched, Barnes & Noble had it listed for just shy of $11. May see that again in the future.
the cover is too plain and the title font/text is pretty horrible, to be honest. it looks especially bad on amazon when you can see it bigger. I wonder how it looks in person. got a copy to take a picture of?
I finished the book yesterday (I so love my Kindle) and I enjoyed it a lot. I'm by no means a literary critic so I won't even attempt to form an opinion about that. There weren't any glaring errors that I saw that would even hint it was published by a small company.
I blazed through the book in a few days so that should show how into I got. I typically read mostly historical type books, but I do like the FBI agent thrillers, and I enjoyed the geo-political plot in it. The ending probably wasn't as satisfying as I wanted, but I know you intend on making this a series, which I completely support.
I do have a few questions:
I like the Iblis character but I guess I'm a litle confused as to what his role was with the terrorist cell. I remember he financed the group, but for what purpose? Was it to draw out Morgan and get her out of the picture? How did he know she was getting close to him because I assume he doesn't know she has his fingerprints? Also, I thought Iblis know Baker was the source for Wogan, but I didn't think they worked together. However, Baker loaded the gun that Iblis used to execute the terrorists.
I also like the Wogan character but I'm interested in how he tried to erase Morgan from his life. Morgan seems to be more indifferent towards her father from what I remember so it doesn't seem like she is angry with him, just more apathetic. I'm betting that some of this will be part of future novels though.
I'm sure I'll think of more questions as it's still running through my mind.
Do you mind if we buy the e-book or would you prefer I order a physical copy? Cause as it it I'm seconds away from purchasing it from the B&N Nook Store.

So, I'm not going to get into an Amazon vs. self-publishers/small publishers here, but they've got serious issues with stocking. Even in the US. They're showing 9 - 12 days down here when all they do is forward the order to Ingram and Ingram drop ships to the customer.
Kk didn't know how the money worked out or anything. Purchased on my Nook. Gimmie a few days to read it I don't read really quickly but I love a good thriller.
