What is the one shallow thing that you would reject a potential partner for? Just something little that really shouldn't matter but for some reason you can't help looking for. For me, its the way a guy dresses...if he doesn't have good style it's really hard for me to be attracted to him, even if he's great in every other way. What are yours?

Smoking for me would otherwise destroy the chances of me being interested in somebody.

Wow, that really IS shallow. Mine, personally is feminine facial hair. Or maybe that SHOULD matter...

Come on now, this is disappointing. Personality flaws can't really be counted as shallow because it affects how you get along with the person. I'm talking about REALLY shallow things, like not wanting to get with a girl because her boobs are too small or her nose is too big or she wears granny-panties instead of thongs. WORK WITH ME HERE. There's gotta be SOMETHING.

I do not believe some of you know what shallow really is.....

skoorb: smoking being a turn off is not being shallow. It's a health issue for a lot of folks. I never would get together with a smoker either. I'm allergic to it and it just stinks. Shallow? seriously soubtful

personally, i would say, if she wasn't an active individual. Then again, that goes into preferences. So I am not entirely sure if that could be considered shallow or not.

here's one, she needs to have a face I find attractive.

Kids. (The girl is damaged goods)

Don't get me wrong, I love kids. I want to have a bakers dozen (well only 3 really), but I don't want someone elses kids. I know that I would spaz at them someday and tell them that they are the reason that their daddy is not around.

I am not a hypocrit though. I feel the same way about someone else raising my kids. If I ever got someone pregnant and she had the baby and it called someone else Dad the kid would be singing their ABC's with a bar of soap in their mouth untill they started sh!tting bubbles.

Is that what you were looking for???

Too many to list, but they all come back to health and hygiene. If you don't take care of yourself, chance are I'm not interested. Perhaps that is shallow, but I think if more people had this attitude, more people would get into shape and stay that way.

Hahaha YES! Especially the fact that you would blame them for their dad not being there anymore, I love that. I don't think I would be able to date someone with kids, but then again I'm still too young to be thinking about kids.

So does health and hygiene include weight issues? If you just mean you want a girl to brush her teeth and shower daily, that's pretty normal. But the shallow part is if you wouldn't date a girl because she didn't work out or she was kinda chunky. And THAT is what I'm looking for.

I'm a sexist man. I thinks its a minor turn-off when a girl smokes and a major turn-off if she dips. I havent done either since my first year in the navy, so I feel justified in being shallow.

I can deal with just about any other bad habit, though.
Probably because I'm so desperate.
