Deserves its own thread IMO. Went in for $15.

no it doesn't and after what that bastard did to battletech I hope this fails.

You mean sold it to Microsoft?
that was turning it into gold in comparison.
Is this anything like the Genesis Shadowrun done by the now-defunct Blue Sky, or is it totally different?
Didn't see it but what you said makes sense. ThanksThe dev video on
that was turning it into gold in comparison.
I already did too, in between backing Wasteland 2 and Grim Dawn.
2013 might end up being a great year for veteran-developer indie games.
Then maybe Troika and Obsidian staff will do their own KS projects. Sadly the next World of Darkness game is a politics-based MMO, I'd throw sacks of money at a real Vampire TM Bloodlines sequel.
so they made 1.3 million dollars for the funding?
Is that near enough?
Turn-based 2D RPG?
I DON'T CARE IF THE SETTING IS HELLO KITTY ADVENTURE ISLAND, TAKE MY MONEY.
Was overlooking this thread initially because I foolishly assumed it was just another fakeRPG with an fps engine and real time combat. Sounds like I almost made a terrible mistake, glad I checked it out.
Edit:
That said, the concept of giving you in-game bonus much like "pay to win" games as rewards for large kickstarter pledges is utter BS and almost completely changes my opinion of the project. At this point undecided if I'll pledge $15 or not, the idea of being at a disadvantage from the start because I didn't pledge enough leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Give the higher backers cosmetic bonuses, physical bonuses, in game mentions or whatever, don't give them game play bonuses.
Not enough information at the moment - but I doubt it. SNES and Genesis games were "arcadish" real time games.
The dev video on the kickstarter page indicates a "graphically rich 2d tactical turned base adventure with highly contextual game play"
He also mentioned that since they own the license they are allowed to do a role playing game for tablets and PC.
I'm going to guess maybe something similar to the old school "2d isometric" games [original Fallout game].
