Actually a study came out recently, which managed to pretty convincingly link genetic diseases of the Central Nervous System (which are highly frequent among Ashkenazi jews), with their apparent intelligence. The immigrant absorbtion thing isn't good, as they are displacing others who have just as much right to live where they've lived for a long time. I salute Israel's engineers, but their politcians could use some polish. The only solution to the sh1tty little country thing is for them to simply learn to get along with their neighbors, and vice versa.

Jews are not a race... and their above average intelligence is a direct consequence of 2 things:
1. centuries of persecution
2. centuries of a cult of education
Out of those two, it's most likely the centuries of literacy that have had the most effect. Jews are not naturally better than the rest of humanity in any way - even thinking that is stupid. What they are is better adapted to the modern world, because of the abovementioned driving forces. It's not just genetics either, it's memes. The concept of striving for education is a very old concept among the Ashkenazi jewry.
So if you put any other ethnic group through the same conditions for the same amount of time, I think you'd get a similar result.
Too bad you're the single statistic that brings the entirety of the Jewish people down a notch

There is just something about Jewish people. They are self driven. In NJ we have wealthy communities that are heavily populated with Jewish families. These people own businesses and are very educated. I work for a very successful security company that was started in 1978 by a Jew named Kaplan and his company is IPC International. It's the biggest security outfit today and they had just recently bought out one of the b iggest security firms in Great Britain.
Anyway, what i'm trying to say is that the value money and education. They are always inversting heavily and keep the money within their communities. They own huge corporations and do extremely well financially. Of course I'm generalizing here but you get the point.
