Suhhhweeet. At the doctors office, he "poked" a hole in it, and drained it. It feels a lot better now. Hopefully I can go for a while before it bothers me too much.

Text This website has a lot of really useful information. I wish I had read up on it before I had my surgery. And to everybody who thinks these things are the bees knees, believe me, you DO NOT want one. Your mobility is severly limited, and the pain is blinding.

Yep, I am already a member on those forums. Are you saying that some people think that Pilonidal Cysts are the bees knees? Who the hell would say that...this sucks so far. I havent had anything else in my life compare, although I have been pretty lucky health-wise in my short life.

I'd rather have one of those than the massive ganglion cyst that I have in my wrist...

Bigger than this?

Not quite, but it's close. It has a huge impact on my gripping capabilities in my hand, and it's also numb a lot of times.

That sucks, I just have a small one in my thumb. Why doesn't your doctor do anything about it?

Kind of funny, I read this the same day my dog had to go in for basically the same thing! He started chewing on his tail and he had one the size of a pea, almost at the end. The vet tried to squeeze it, but it was "solid" and would have to get bigger before it was going to do anything.

There is so little skin there, the vet said it would be best to take it out/off now, so they could sew it up without any problems. So, he went in tuesday morning and I picked him up that afternoon. He couldn't hardly wait to get out of there. Normally, he loves the place. Now if I say, "go to the Vet?" He looks like he's gonna puke..

While he was out, I had them clean his teeth, no more dog breath!
