So, it hurt quite a bit today, and it got worse as the day went on. I told myself I was gonna go to the health center tommorow, to get some help. I took my usual nightly shower, surfed a bit, then got into bed.

This next part nasty, just to warn you.



























I decided to check on the area again, just for the hell of it...bad news. This time, it was wet. It shouldn't be wet...I dried my ass quite well.

I thought "Oh sh!t..here we go". I went into the bathroom, and sure enough, my ass had basically ruptured. It looked, for a second ,like somone shot me, right above my ass crack. I wiped, and it looked like a reddish/garnet colored substance. Of course I smelled it...rancid, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

However...I can't really get much out. I squeeze, but, it comes out slowly....just more and more of this red stuff (not quite like blood..more like a reddish pus) comes out. DAMNIT THIS SUCKS.

Welcome to pain.

You'll need to get someone to help you squeeze it daily. If you can do this, then the healing time goes down dramatically. Trust me.

Nah man, it hasn't done anything like that yet. I noticed that the area hurt, a while ago, but it wasn't a big deal. It didnt bother me too much. However, just after today, it hurts a lot more, and is..larger (SICK!).

Then you need to get someone on it quickly.

I didn't think that anything could be done for mine, but when I was washing, there was a lot of pain, and then suddenly a lot less pain.

I'll let you fill in the missing details, it's too near my breakfast :p

You should be okay to be honest; I've had this three times and I've never had it lanced. The first two times, it just went away after a while, and the third time it went away a lot easier and quicker once it had been drained once a day by my long-suffering girlfriend :eek:

There's not many people that would do that ;)

I had a few of them when I was in junior high. Repetitive hot packs (hotter the better, w/o burning, ie using face cloths etc.) will bring it to the surface so that it can open and drain.

I have the same thing basically, except it's up on my neck in back where the skin folds(It's always there, about the size of a pea) . As long as I leave it alone, it's not too bad. But if I start rubbing on it, it starts getting bigger and bigger (It once got about 2" across!) and hurts worse and worse. If I stop messing with it, and put hot packs on it, it will recede and go back to it's normal size and have no pain. But when it gets really rolling, it will break open and drain...YUCK. One time I got sunburned, and that alone seemed to get it started, and I messed with it, and got it started up and it got so painful I couldn't sleep laying down until it drained, and then I had to force myself to leave it alone.

My former best friend has one on his ass, and has to use the rubber donut every so often. LOL, the rat deserves it!

I'd rather have one of those than the massive ganglion cyst that I have in my wrist...
