I'm a guy, pretty much straight, though I've had "experiences" with a guy, and am not afraid to admit that I find certain guys sexually attractive. Granted, my ratio of attractive females to males is somewhere around 9:1, but there's still that little bit.

Although some would probably choose the ugliest woman...if they didn't have access to women for an extended period of time but only memebers of the same sex , they might choose to have sexual contact with someone of the same sex...and I'm sure they would be selective and choose a person they thought attractive..
You only need to look at prisons to see evidence of that. When straight people are completely removed from members of the opposite sex , they will become
temporarily gay, but still have a degreee of selectiveness in choosing a partner. I think everyone is bisexual to some extent....it just depends on the situation.

I personally hold no grudges against anyone regardless of their sexual alignment. I dont believe judging the attractiveness of someone of the same sex is an indication of being gay, however, as a male i have to admit i have very little concept of what makes another male attractive aside from the obvious ones the media tells us are attractive. As for women, they all have such beautiful shapes, and curves, i can understand any person regardless of sexual preference finding the smooth flowing skin of a woman tantalizing at some level. Just my take on all this stuff....

I am frightened by the number of guys that would even notice another guy, much less get to the point of appreciation.

Actually, I think it tends to apply more to men than to women. Women rarely have a problem giving an opinion about another woman's attraction (though usually they get envious if the other woman is attractive and usually speak negatively of her). Men on the other hand have a problem doing so, especially as they would be perceived as "gay".
As for me, I have no problem giving an opinion about a woman's or a man's look. I say it as it is. I don't think I would equate appreciating beauty with wanting to have sexual relations with that person.

I've never seen a guy and thought "Hot Damn, he's SEXXXAYY!" It just can't happen. I suppose, if asked and/or the question comes up, I could decide whether or not he is attractive to girls, but I'm not really a good judge of that, either.
But anyway, I'm, as mentioned before, a straight male.

Am I the only one who believes most guys are capable of judging if another guy is attractive or not? Girls can most certainly tell if another girl is attractive or not and don't hide about it. Guys on the other hand denies it because society considers it a weakness in masculinity and scorn them behind my back.

Correct and I never said one have to have sex to appreciate someone's beauty. I appreciate the beauty of people who I find attractive and they're guys and girls my age. Interaction with all age of people is cool. I don't mind an attractive female/male friend sitting on me while watching a movie, but if he/she's ugly, I'd have to politely refuse and this has nothing to do with sexual attraction.

I am most definitely straight. That said, I can tell when another woman is beautiful. It's not like I don't have eyes. lol Thinking someone of the same sex is attractive, IMO, does not make you gay.
