This whole thing is out of curiosity, btw. Im just genuinely confused.

That site has a table of ages of consent. So, living in indiana, i can have sex with any chicks 16 and up, right? That table seems really simple, but reading some of the articles about this girl makes some laws so confusing. So the laws very from state to state, and there are separate (which has precedence?) federal laws, right? It seems like there are so many little rules about what you can and cannot do. And furthermore, what if you are traveling or something from one state and go into another, can you get in trouble if you meet age requirement in one state and not the other?

That's not entirely accurate. In PA for example, the age of consent is 16 but an age difference of 4 years or less is ok. So 17 & 13 is kosher.

These days, I wonder if carding your dates is a good idea. I had a friend meet a girl who said she was 22, he went to Texas, and just as he was about to pull his move he got a knock on the window. She was 17. Now he's a registered sex offender with a ton of other stipulations because they played it like he was using the message board he owned as a way of meeting underaged girls. So that girl, because she wanted to feel adult basically ruined his life.

Sad to say, that's okay to do in this day and age. Play the victim and you're absolved of all blame.

Doesn't matter if she shows you her forged birth certificate, national security clearance, and has the Pope call you to tell you how he personally baptized her 18 years ago... the only element to a statutory rape charge is that girl is actually X years old. IL is inaccurate as well. 18 is age of consent, 17 if within 5 years of the partner or not in a position of authority, i think it actually goes down to 14 within 5 years as well. In other words, dont trust that table at all.

The age of consent is the age when the law says you can agree to have sex. In most countries it means until you reach this age you can not legally have sex with anyone, regardless of their age old. In the United States and Canada this is the same situation. Sometimes the law is different if you are female or male.

That's what it says right under the table. States generally say which age groups can have sex with minors.

Never.
You have to remember that most states and the federal govt are run by dirty old men. If they used that rule they wouldnt be able to touch anything under 30, and thats no good for them.

Chances are that same chick has a fake ID that got her to where she met people older than her.

asking for an id is a dealbreaker...why not ask if you can shove a spectulum inside them as well.

what is arbitrary and dumb about it? It's a pretty fair demographic match up.

Social people have sex around 15 or so...those that are outcasts cry about it being really closer to 18-21 or a bad thing.

Everyone is on Spears now for getting pregnant at 16.

2)there a penis in there?
3)you're guilty
4)if there was no penis you are innocent as long as you aren't a school teacher

seriously though, once you get to college you have sex with college girls.
Once you are out of college you have sex with girls (they sometimes like to be referred to as women or ladies at this point) that are out of college.

Shit, even if a teacher gets found "guilty" she wont see a day of jail, she'll just get community service. Probably with the local boy scout troop.

I don't get this. Only works if you are exclusively dating where you are going to school at the time.

When I was in high school I met older girls not necessarily in college or not. When I was in college my girlfriend was a senior in high school I had just graduated the year prior.

after college for a while many of the chicks i met were still in college or in that age bracket.

Personally that age bracket never appealed to me for the most part. I like a fun chick, just not one that's like a teenager on speed.
