sex > bodybuilding any day.

Also, if you're that concerned, just find a fat chick and "press" her.

Really? You ask some silly questions, man. You're worrying way too much about everything. Just do what you want to do. It's not going to affect you negatively.

There was some myth that said something like having sex would drop your testosterone levels for like 24 hours but there have been a few studies done and all concluded that sex has no impact on testosterone production/levels... I have sex all the time and it doesn't effect my lifts any.

It depends on how much work you do during sex. If you're on top, you might be tired in the gym. If she does all the work, you're probably fine.

If you're working that hard, you're either doing something very right or very wrong...

Dude, who cares if your weight drops 3-kg? Assuming you're doing a proper strength training program, you will continue to grow stronger. In the mean time, enjoy the fact that you have a girlfriend you like, enjoy the fact she likes sex, and for the love of life go have you some sex.

You're supposed to lift weights to GET girls, not avoid them to lift weights!

It's not the sex - you're not eating enough in all likelihood. Either that or you're just dropping some water weight.

ok, thanks for your advice, I think you are right, I will just train harder and increasing my carb intake to compensate it

You don't have to increase your carb intake. Increase your overall caloric intake - carbs should be the least of your priorities, if you're bodybuilding.

Hehe this is a funny thread. Though I would say that bodybuilding should not go to the extent that it affects your sex life.

Funny thread.

On a serious note, does it affect your lifting? A friend once said that before lifting competitions, the trainer said to not have sex or spank it because it will affect how you lift.

I never changed anything in my private life while lifting. I say keep doing what you're doing.

I don't know about you guys, but I just don't feel like doing a damn thing after sex other than laying down and/or taking a nap.
