I currently run windows XP and want to set up the network so I can see other computers that have shared resources. Before, I used to run the Network Setup Wizard to get my computer to view other computers on the network. Recently, for some reason, my network setup wizard stopped working. When I click on it, it just does absolutely nothing, not even an error message. I am connected through a router and can surf the net with no problems. I was wondering how would I go about to set up the network manually so that I can see other computers on my network? I want the computers to appear in the network neighborhood automatically and not have to manually type in the IP of each computer I want to connect to in windows explorer. I think this might have something to do with netbios settings? I remember someone telling that netbios (or netbui) has something to do with automatically detecting and connecting computers on the network.
