SETI screen saver question....

I'm currently using the SETI GUI version 3.03 on my rig, now come the question, if under preferences I set it to "data analysis always run," am I wrong in assuming that I can use any screensave I want and SETI will still run in the background at all times? Thanks for answering my "stupid" question and your time.

Yes you are correct in assuming that


Just don't use one of those fancy 3D ones, because they take a lot of CPU time away from Seti.

But, the best way to run Seti is with the CLI, check here on information on the CLI and the most popular addons
