The fact that he wasn't robbed is a compelling fact, but nothing will come of it.

If the Seth Rich story turns out to be true and he's the leaker who spilled the story about the DNC conspiring against Bernie Sanders, doesn't that disprove the entire "Russians colluded to undermine our election"

I imagine with enough unsubstantiated leaps of logic you could disprove just about anything.

Bernie lost because he was a bad candidate that never found a way to expand his appeal outside of his white base. It's time to accept that.

Not to mention he wasn't even a member of the party he was trying to win the nomination of.

One could say the same of Hillary. She hadn't sufficient appeal to win, popular vote notwithstanding and as you said the institutional Democrats had a vested interest in Bernie losing. It's hard to believe they hadn't substantial influence.

On the subject of the Fox piece they have something in common with Trump in that reality is unimportant. It's all about hubris and histrionics.

His murder is definitely suspicious but until the data on his laptop is combed through and leads pursued, no conclusion can be drawn.

I mean clearly she didn't have sufficient appeal to win, but she did apparently have more appeal than Sanders.

I sincerely doubt the DNC, which most voters don't even know exists, were the cause of her victory. She won over Bernie by double digits and millions of votes.

I'm not saying the DNC was the sole factor but I am saying significant. It's difficult to imagine they haven't the power to shape opinion because of subtlety, but it's all academic now.

Set phazers to maximum distraction! Activate the Bluster field! Shit is getting real, folks!
This, I saw 8 threads on 4chan last night saying the trump leaking classified info was just a cover up of the TRUE story, the seth rich story, which oddly enough there is barely a trace of before yesterday in recent news.

It's so fucking obvious it's just a shitty attempt to distract from trump/russia.

Last I checked it's customary for the distraction story to be a single story that happens after what it's distracting from, rather than a continual shower of pure gold failure for weeks on end before the story to be buried even breaks, right?

They've been using this as a distraction story since it happened. Every few months when something else comes out, they bring Seth Rich story back out again.

I find the far more likely circumstance is that if he WAS working with wikileaks and leaking DNC emails, it was the Russian's tying up loose ends more than Hillary going out for blood.

I'll be honest, half the reason was I really wanted to describe the Trump presidency as a continual shower of pure gold failure. And yeah, I'm aware that they keep putting a new coat of lipstick on the pig and trotting it out after something looks like it might actually matter.

Didn't President Trump say he could 'shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters'? WaPo/NYT/Buzzfeed next headline:

President Trump confirmed person of interest in Seth Rich murder!

It's the only thing being talked about at /r/the_donald.

So the troll army has got their marching orders and are out brigading en force.

It's pretty funny watching all the Trump supporters parroting the Trump administration's line that all these stories are fake... only to be undercut by Trump himself, often mere hours later.

Aren't you guys sick of having him make you look stupid for trusting him?

I think they're more desperately trying to latch onto something to avoid having to come to terms with the contrast between the world as it exists and how their perception of the world says it should be.

No, I think it's a deliberate flailing attempt at changing subjects. Twitter has over 250,000 mentions of Seth Rich today. The bots are going apeshit trying to spam news feeds.

I don't know much about Reddit but is there any mechanism to see how many posts/how much traffic the_donald is getting as time goes on? I mean I would expect some decline over time simply due to the fact that there's not an election anymore, but I also wonder if there's a decline from his supporters realizing that they successfully helped elect an incompetent moron.

Compelling in what way, exactly?

Shee-it, Sherlock- If you want to entertain conspiracy theory then he could have been murdered as a distraction from the truth.
