Long story short. I love the dealership that my father gets his SRT8 300c serviced at. They always takes care of him (my father tips them huge amounts of money) and always make time for him for needless things.
I went there the other day with my pops and mentioned that I had to do my service for my car (RX-8) this month sometime. They said they'd take care of it, and get me in and out as soon as I came.
Of course, I'd buy the special oil filter, and oil that I need from Mazda, and take it all to these guys to put it in for me. It will probably cost more than just doing it at Mazda, but I like these guys and don't mind the extra money and tipping them. It would cost me ~$100 after everything (with $25 tip) vs. 60 at Mazda.
Now WHY would I do this? The last time I used Koepell VW/Mazda to service my car - it took 4 hours, they curbed the rims on my GLi, and put a nice ding in my bumper. They also treat me like shit most of the time.
I figure my father throws these guys so much money at Chrysler, that they'd return the favor with me.
How would servicing my car at Chrysler affect my warranty on my car? As long as I keep the service records, I should be good right?
