Some local villages were so pleased about a certain Sergeant that they wanted to thank him for his work in working for them. He had provided crucial water and plumbing help and was loved by the people. The requirements for this honor was that he had to own 5 sheep and own land. They gave him the sheep and deeded him a parcel of land the size of a postage stamp and in a special ceremony presented him with the white robes of office.
