Got mine today! I've got them plugged in for burn-in right now. They feel tight on my head, no matter the extension of the arms -- so I've also got them spread over a head-sized ball to stretch out and hopefully loosen up a bit. My old HD570's are pretty loose and SO comfortable. Hopefully these 555's will loosen up as well.

For those wondering, the "leaving them on a ball for a few weeks" method worked great to stretch out the headpiece. The ball that I used was a rubber playground ball, maybe the size of a youth soccer ball or basketball (definitely smaller than a normal soccer or basketball). I bought 2 pairs of 555's, and after 2 weeks on the ball, the pair that I stretched is visibly looser at all extension lengths, and appreciably more comfortable to wear.

Anybody missed the deal? I want to sell mine for closed-end ones :)

Same here; I thought I'd be able to get by without fully closed phones, but if I turn em up at all, the cube mates all hear me listening to Kansas :p

Hd25-IIs on. the way.

hahahahaha.,... bose..... har har har... also,, yes you'll love them... though you may need to play with the eq if you don't like the sennheiser sound signature, which has flat bass response with a rather moderate dip 2k+ and then drop off at 10k
