Sending angry email to whole department-going over boss's helmet?

Did your boss fuck up, or was it a guy in another department who fucked up?

If someone else who fucked up (and they have a habit of doing it/been warned about it before), the best way to get that fixed is to e-mail the other guy's boss and cc your own boss as an FYI. If it's a repeat offense, cc the bosses bosses as well.

I know this from experience, since I once had a completely incompetent coworker who basically did nothing for a year before he finally got canned. It created a ton of extra work for me, and it eventually got escalated up to the VP and COO level before it finally got fixed.

Some other guy. So I ended up sending the email saying I had an emergency and the stuff i expected to be there was missing. Nobody is fessing up as to who lost them, but someone ended up searching for them and found it. Situation resolved :awe:
