When does Mitch face a real challenge for his very obvious shirking of his elected duty by essentially removing a fundamental pillar of our established checks and balances system? Do Kentucky voters simply not care or honestly not understand what he is doing? Do they just not understand how this country works?

Kentucky is unfortunately a very red state with islands of blue around Louisville and Lexington.

So McConnell had the senate vote on this helping russian billionaires but refuse to allow a vote on the shutdown vote that passed the house that would allow furloughed Americans to come back to work along with all the other ways people are getting shafted with this shutdown. Treasonist asshole.

McConnell didn't allow this vote. This particular sanctions law allowed the minority leader to bring to a vote this particular kind of bill-a very unusual situation.

In fact McConnell fought tooth and nail to defeat reimposing this sanction, and voted that way himself.

Thanks didn't know that about the minority leader

"In a separate segment about the government shutdown, above, Steele also said Trump has “met his match” in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) after she asked to postpone the State of the Union address because of the shutdown.

“He doesn’t know what to do with this woman. He has no idea,” Steele said. “That’s why he’s sitting in the White House frustrated, because she’s not biting on the kernels of crazy he’s putting out there.”

From the article, the bolded above is almost sig worthy.
