fucks sake johnny, you couldn't even spell your last name right. 🙄

I didn't go to college like Obozo and I had to learn on my own to get a GED and then a shit fucked faked high school diploma in Job Corp. But I do pretty good. LOL

I can't believe Obozo never heard the word corpsmen said properly. It just goes to show you he depends on the teleprompter.

Don't you think the leader of the free world should be held to a higher degree? I guess it's all that community organizing BS.

I find that hard to believe. You're telling me no military members saluted General Eisenhower when he was president?

They did salute President Eisenhower and he returned the salute. What Reagan did is make it more commonplace, everyday occurance.

So, Reagan didn't start it. He simply popularized it.

And, the president isn't required to salute anyone. They do it out of, gasp!, respect. Even if it improper (and, why would it be proper, coming from a person with zero experience or training in military customs and courtesies), it is still a sign of respect.

here ya go.

Bush_dog_salute.jpg

The buzz on the local TV station's Facebook post about this seems to indicate that it's fine since the dog is in his left hand, so the right hand is empty.

Someone also pointed out that there are more pressing issues with the Obama presidency such as the economy, wars, and Constitutional rights issues... I'm sure that guy will get run out of town in the next few days.

I am confused. Rush and the rest of hate radio says I should rage about this this. Fox says I should rage about this. No one else seems to care.

Well, if Obama improperly saluting doesn't enrage you, I believe Bill Clinton never once rendered a salute while exiting AFO.

Oops, typo. Air Force One. You know, the president's plane. The president's helicopter is called Marine One, btw. I don't know if his speedboat is called Navy One though.

They saluted him, but he didn't have to salute back. Since he was wearing civilian clothes and not actually a military member.
There is a bunch of dumb byzantine rules in the military for who salutes who, when you salute and so on, none of which applies to the president.

Are you asking because you've spent so long in the bubble you've forgotten what a brain looks like and just aren't sure?

I don't live in a bubble, I'm not a Libtard and follow the follow me crowd. I'm not apart of the blame America first crowd. I am a leader and I know when I see stupid shit from a commander in chief it needs to be called out. He holds the highest duty in America. It seems to me between Obozo and Joe blowhard's gaffes the two have zero common sense. They are NOT leaders. FFS Obozo was a community organizer. I'm just wondering if his library will be built in Chicago, Hawaii or Indonesia. LOL

🙄 Please... you conservatards live in the biggest bubble of them all. You're just too dumb to notice it.

From what I've read Eisenhower did not return the military salute when he was serving as President nor did many other Presidents before him.

Watch this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_ZYVPJVW1c

Around the 25 second mark you can see Eisenhower returning the salute of a Marine. This was in 1954 during the dedication of the US marine Corps Memorial. He also salutes when he first gets out of the car in the beginning. Remember just because you read it doesn't mean it is true.
