I just have to get this off my chest...

The movie 2012 looks retarded and I can't believe people would waste their money to see this.

Beyond that, what is with all these retards who think that the world is going to send in 2012? All the REAL research I've done indicates that the Mayan calendar gives no real indication of the end of the world.

But, lets just say the Mayan calendar did predict the end of the world. The Mayan also believed that Gods controlled the weather and fertility of their crops. They didn't understand the most basic functions of our planet, but yet they can predict the END OF THE FUCKING WORLD!? Give me a break.

Isnt their calendar based on the solar system? So maybe the solar system and star allignments are just going back to how they started when the calendar began? You have to admit tho, it is just strange though how many dif cultures predicted around that year to be the "end of the world".

I agree... the Mayans were idiots.
They were so brilliant, they forced themselves into extinction by cutting down all their trees.
The fires were used to make mortar for all their dumb buildings.
They didn't even know how to make metal tools!

Well, what would you do if you thought the world is going to end in 3 years? Continue normal routine or something drastic? I guess it depends on the person.

Of course you can act on it - if I was a complete idiot and actually believed the world was going to end in 2012, I'd quit my job, blow all my retirement savings and travel around the world with my family.
