Nope. Ownere manual specifically states that it takes regular 87 octane. In fact, if you feed it premium it is worse for the car than regular.

Get an I4 accord. Economical and affordable. And has 5 speed auto which makes it reasonably quick.

Presumably he would get an I4, in which case the accord has a better auto transmission (5 speed vs 4 speed) and much better highway rated mileage.

Well I decided on a Mazda 3s, I'll be shopping around the dealerships sometime next week. Some of the people I've talked to think I'm nuts downgrading, but speed gets old eventually . Color recommendations anyone? I was leaning towards Winning Blue.
