Seems like a fun time to own an xbox 360 ...

Just thinking about some new games that I wanted to get:

BioShock (Aug. 21, 2007)*
Blue Dragon (Aug. 28, 2007)*
PGR 4 (Sep. 4, 2007)
Halo 3 (Sep. 25, 2007)*
GTA IV (Oct. 16, 2007)*
Naruto (Oct. 16, 2007) (supposed to be good; haha)
Guitar Hero III (Oct. 29, 2007)
Assassin's Creed (Nov. 2007)*
Call of Duty 4 (Nov. 2007)*
FEAR Files (Nov. 2007)
Splinter Cell Conviction (Nov. 2007)
Mass Effect (Don't Know?)*
Two Worlds (Don't Know? Not really into games like this, but my friend is)

All the asterisk ones I'll probably end up getting. I might get em all. hahaha. Any others to add? Comments?

Oh yeah, you work at a video game store or something.

True, but most every game's release date can be found at Gamestop's website, too. I'm not sure what kind of, if any, delay there is of dates being put into the internal system and up on the website.

It looks like I'll be getting an Xbox360 before I get a PS3 (FF13 nowhere in sight...)
It'll probably be around Halo 3's release 🙂 Mass Effect will probably be awesome too

I was actually just being funny 😉

is two worlds for sure this time? how many times has that game been delayed?

but yeah, it's a good time to own a 360, unless you're poor. then it sucks.

I can't wait. I'm jonesing for some gaming action since my 360 has been out of commission..hopefully I'll see it returned by early next week...but I'm not holding my breath. Can't wait to get in some quality gaming to get ready for the blockbuster fall.

Ahhh, sorry about that. 🙂 I didn't pick up on it.

The decent possibilty of red-ringing sounds fun? I'd wait until it's fixed.

I mean, think about it...you get all of these games, and then it breaks...what's left? You have to stare at the games for a week or two before being able to play again.

Then again, you may not have any problems...it's just been such a high rate that I'd seriously wait and save yourself some potential trouble.

It's been a fun time to own an XBox 360 for me since May 06 when I bought it 😛 It's only getting better. These games are going to keep me busy when it gets cold outside..

Oh a whole week or two, woe is me! How long have PS3 owners been staring at their consoles because of the lack of good games? More than a week or two. 😉 I bought my 360 at Costco, so if it ever breaks I can just take it there and get a new one, same day.

You should be able to pick up Falcon w/ 65nm internals this fall. That way you get

1) Cheaper Console
2) More reliable Console
3) All the great games coming out.

Waiting on the new xbox360 revision and price drop next month. Hopefully HDMI will be added in the revision on all 360's not just the Elite and Halo3.

Not fun enough to have you 360 break on you and then be without gaming for 1-2 months. When the 65nm comes out, then it might be a fun time to own one.

Plus, at least half of those games are available on other platforms.

Well add rumors of a $300 65nm Premium this holiday season and everything's just peachy.
